This fried herrings place is one of the top few recommended places to eat in Stockholm (not many are affordable anyway) and to be honest, it's my first time eating it after 4 months of living here and it's really super awesome!! I wasn't even hungry but it was good. Also, I haven't eat out in Stockholm much, much less to eat OUTSIDE. IT WAS SUPER COLD! Hahaha. Pretty good experience anyway, considering it was a sunny day.
Went up the Södermalm hill onto the Gondolen (also my first time up here); view was pretty alright but blocked by all the wire barriers so not that impressive. Went on to Gamla Stan where we found the famous chocolate shop in their itinerary and that my guide previously introduced:
As usual, white chocolate tasted like milk powder but the milk dark chocolate was really nice (nothing compared to the Belgium one though). Christmas markets in Stockholm are really small: the Gamla Stan one, the Kungstragarden one (which we went next; also my first time lol), and even the Skansen one that I went previously is nothing compared to those in Eastern Europe.
After visiting the ice skating rink and the Christmas market as mentioned above we went on to find the fish soup that I had yesterday! THEY DIDN'T EAT SECOND SERVING! That's a crime alright. Haha. And Carie couldn't even finish hers so I ate half of what she left lol.
Left them after dinner to meet the SU peeps for our final home-cooked dinner this year (bkt again!) and also collected my Xmas present from Jiahan! :D should probably prepare some present on my part hahaha
