Zoo + Botanic Gardens 16/6/15 - 17/6/15

Had a lecture about the new campaign and basically seeing with our eyes a big portion  of the second half of the module (the ex situ part) 

Walked around with this bunch after we were free to roam. Not the Orang Utans though 

Met Mr Hippo as instructed by Ms Blur

And saw the new addition from Australia: the koalas! 

Also, the koalas eat their mum's poop for the bacteria in it to prepare them for the highly toxic eucalypt leaves when they grow up. It's called pap. Kinda what our PAP does for us, isn't it? Haha

Then we went back to school and continued out project 

Next day was Botanic Garden! And found the legendary Tembusu tree on our 5 dollar bill, though it's not clear at all from this photo haha 

And the nice pavilion! 

And same thing, we came back for more project after Samy's curry!
