In-between

Super a lot of things to complete in super limited time means a super busy weekend "break" before all hell break loose again. 

Woke up pretty late, went down to Sengkang to collect my passport and to the library for books. Then headed to brother's place for a swim and then to use the internet. Settled finance, some Japan itinerary, emailed Prof Ko to apply for research assistant role, emailed various Profs to be my character referee for my TA application, sent in my transcript to HDB (and hurried them for money), checked out my Todai schedule/syllabus, and other miscellaneous matter. Went down to Hougang mall for more library, some Watson shopping, then cut hair in preparation for reservist on Monday. Dinner at home and then went back to hall to pack my room and move out part one. 

Next morning slept late again, breakfast at home was Ba Zhang cos it's 端午节. Then second breakfast was nice beef noodle at Kovan with bro and sis-in-law. Went back to their house and it's internet part two: clinched a research assistance role with Prof Ko, and continued my other research role: for my Japan trip! Went back to hall with the car to do some minor packing, then headed to Maju camp for IPPT before clearing most of the stuff out of hall (but I forgot my transponder to return!). 

Sadly, only silver cos I got a few no-count for push up and decided to not chiong too much for my run 

Went out to meet this bunch of kids at Somerset:

Skipped lunch because of IPPT, skipped dinner because I was late because of IPPT; so here I am, drinking on empty stomach haha

Also, met a bunch of girls who asked to take a photo with me. I'm a SUPERSTAR! Except I'm not... It's just a stag party activity -.- oh wells. I was so happy I forgot to ask them where Watson was, so continued searching for it for another 15 minutes or so. And also spent $60 in it. Zzz. 

Met up with Shir after "dinner" and it's the usual boring BCM at Thompson again, cos I had a craving again. Haha. Wellz probably the last before I flyyyyy 

Sunday morning was spent setting up internet at home (and it worked!), headed over to bro's and then left for hall to finally check out while passing Hannah my aircon so that I don't have to move it back. Haha. Went back to Jack's place for a swim, continued my Japan research, then went to my sister's place for another swim! 

Really nice with a very tropical feel, a lazy pool, a large pool, a kid's area with slides, many jacuzzi pools, some pool bike/treadmill, and the coolest of them all, a hammock island! 

Spent half the time baby sitting though 

Also, the excavated this propeller when they were digging for the foundation of this site; Boat House is also built on what was once Gangka/Gangjiao, which means the river mouth. Pretty cool

And finally, Father's Day dinner! Simple affair before we all split ways to prepare for the week ahead. Also, got to drive sister's new Volkswagen Golf! Powerful shit. 

For now, time to revise some medic stuff!
