Probably one of the most intense period of my life the past 7 years. This too shall pass, and this too did pass. We’ve both moved on to a better future and I am happy that we are both happy this way.... thanks for the memories and you will always be a big part of my past.

Strongest pillar in good times 

Writing this retrospectively, it was such a humbling experience to represent Singapore, even if they were only for friendly matches overseas. We didn’t achieve what we set out to, and I didn’t manage to flight alongside these brothers ultimately. But I hadn’t had any expectations to begin with. So it was all gain. Some parts were toxic, but it all turned out more than I could have ever asked for at the end of the day. Thanks for the memories, and perhaps there wouldn’t be a next chapter, but I was happy to have been part of the story. 

I thought long and hard about whether to post this picture because this is no longer the reality. But the beauty (or pitfall) of a procrastinator who post his blogposts late is that he gets a clear sense of what each picture, sentence and even word should convey, long after the pain and heartbreak clouds the better part of him. This is the last time we went out on a date, and before the end came for our fate. I remembered how happy we were, and may we always remember the happiness that we shared. 

And I remember, the song you sang in the public for the first time that night...

Thanks for the company on a random weeknight (and the drinks after)! Probably the last time we hung out as a trio for the rest of the year!!! I wonder why...
