Just as we were about to leave Queenstown for good, we saw a guy sticking his thumb out and we thought why not! So we picked up Clement from France! He's been working around NZ and hitching rides for 8 months. He was heading for Christchurch but we weren't sure if we'll reach there tonight so we dropped him off (eventually) at the nearest stop we might stay. So we traveled together and chit chatted whenever we stopped.
Rows and rows of my favourite fluffies!
And here we see the Seasons starting to change: from autumn to winter... But we're driving north so running away from the cold! (We're in the south eh)
My ah-gong's road
Found a nice hideout to view the Lake Pukaki (weird name as usual) which was super amazing cos it was a shade of light blue! Moved on to Lake Tekapo beside, which was a smaller but slightly more magnificent lake, and this is where we dropped Clement off.
Hello, Mr Clement!
Check out the blue in the back ground.. Mesmerising
Heh, catching Ms Blur in action
And that's our attempt at a Band of Brothers shot hahaha
And this is after we bid Clement goodbye at the Pukaki area
And we went around racing hares HAHAH we ain't no tortoise though
We also decided to rush ahead after finishing our last half of Fergburger and visiting the local church (as shown above); so off we go, back towards Christchurch! Settled by the lake about half an hour out of Christchurch where there were huge mobile homes parked in the area; found no mayflies as stated in the forum so we parked at a spot we desire and started our dinner preparation.
And this interesting looking thing is a Horned Melon. Expecting it to taste like a rich jackfruit-version of a Rock Melon but the inside turned out to be almost identical to a passionfruit. Disappointing but still interesting haha
And it's carbonara day once again and it's a success this time round! Without the screwing from mushrooms like the previous time, this carbonara was finally carbonara-ish haha. Watched 听见下雨的声音 and then we turned in for the night...
Last light, goodnight!
