Chiang Kham 25/5/16 - 26/5/16

Took the public bus with locals bringing large baggages and fresh vegetables and finally arrived at our next location in two hours. Went into a small noodle stall for lunch and satisfied my BCM craving for the time being and soon after, our host arrived in their luxurious Toyota Camry driven by their rather attractive younger daughter to drive us to our BnB. We also did check the timing for our departure bus the next day so we know what time to come back here (though, yea, we forgot bout the need to reserve seats... Lol)

Salvation after a two hours ride

And when we arrived, it impressed.

I mean, how not to?! Also, this is (the start of) Brandon's shag face and it only went downhill for the rest of Thailand

A small little clay hut sitting opposite vast fields of (barren) crops (cos it's after the harvest season) topped with straws as its own natural air-conditioning "machine"; we've been brought to an era where wuxia heroes stopped by inns for a night before rushing off to their next battle.

Just go show the "bare-ness" haha

Explored the endless fields with Jingyi while Brandon stayed behind to recuperate after realizing he's down with fever, bought some beer back and chilled in the hut before our masseur arrived.

Just me and Pung by this point in time and Phua won't appear until Myanmar haha

After massage was more chilling (with Pung; Phua got killed - almost literally - by the Thai lady masseur) in this cool place and then dinner, which was probably the best meal we've had since our trip started.

Local dinner!

And then more chilling and HTHT with Pung outside the hut until the strong wind hit and the storm followed in a minute's notice...

This is a photo in the day but Pung and I spent most of the night sitting here before the storm hits...

Breakfast was the best breakfast as well, serving simple local northern Thailand delicacies.

And the host was up BBQ-ing some of these way before we were up

Some were savoury, some were tasty, but this is my favourite: sweet but there's ikan billis inside!

Pretty much the highlights of this place: endless nuaing and Kindle-ing

More chilling in the clay hut and off we go to the bus station by their own pick up truck.

And off we go on the back of the truck driven by le father!

Upon reaching the bus station, the office told us tickets to Chiangmai was sold out!
