Pretty date, awesome dinner, touching speech by Jie Bo, great chilling at the bar with my be(a)st friends and their WAGs, and most importantly,
a perfect shock by CSM.

Two days ago, CSM smsed to ask me which of two watches are better; so I chose and told him, and thought to myself "knn, ORD already still needa work!" Though I swear I was secretly suspecting it to be something more.
Today at the dinner, he thanked everyone, even his girlfriend, but he missed Mathew and I...
Then towards the end, he mentioned us, "two most outstanding soldiers in the company"
I won't say I deserve it, but I was really touched.
He got the two of us up the stage,
and presented us with a present each.
It was the watch he got me to choose.
I wanted to make fun of him,
but I decided not to when I realize the red strands of blood in his eyes.
Maybe some of you may think that he acted sad,
but I worked with him; I know he reached his low point.
On my note to him and OC,
I briefly thanked them;
because I was in a hurry,
and given a chance again, I would do the same.
I cannot find a perfect word, or sentence, or paragraph to phrase my gratitude to the two of them.
Thank you Sirs;
thanks for the lessons you've taught us,
the patience you've given,
the scolding I know that was for our better future,
the love you've never showed but deep down I know you two have it within.
I hate it when people suck up, and if you're reading,
you know I don't do it even when people think I do
(and all you people reading, no judgement is required)
But I still have to say what I've said.
