Orange urban river and giant concrete knolls
The kind of morning people dread but TGIF! Look at them silver linings!

"... coming from one of those top all-boy schools"
Not sure if CHS qualifies (it's in the comments) but I am indeed a scholar.
But I fully agrees with what Mr Singh has said: (it's pretty lengthy but meaningful so not that good an option as a bedtime story)

We are happy boys and girls at school~
After the final whistle went off for the epic Champions League finals on Saturday morning (and no, only figuratively; we stayed 1 minute short of the whistle), returned car and walked past this place on my way home.
Excelometrics
Applying the basics I learnt in class and the Excel formatting learnt online to good use (Y)
Actually, how much do others actually spend? Friends say I'm a big spender, and I really wonder if it's true!

So we did go to Starbucks
And it was indeed a Friday night
Albeit it was one week later.
And we left before dinner.
And there you see in the phone: couple from Germany
Happy birthday Chris!
Guess I'm gonna be pretty successful at work...

You have to lead when no one else is following you yet
Know what you need to know
Don't reject ideas, be open
Macro first
Act with, not command, consult

Pro-rationality
Friends would know I've been pro-government but this time round I really do agree with what Mr Chee Soon Juan said:
"Defamation suits only repair reputation, not character ... it is character that is the true measure of a leader. Reputation is what others say about us; character is what we believe about ourselves"

Dare
Beethoven was deaf; imagine if he never dare to listen to his calling to compose music
Ray Charles was blind; imagine if he never dare to envision that he could touched the keys of a piano
Albert Einstein was dyslexic; imagine if he never dare to embrace seeing things differently by formulating equations
FDR couldn't walk; imagine if he never date to run
Parker Mantell stutters; imagine if he never narrated that public speech
It's not easy
It's ove-easy
"Who goes to Starbucks on a Friday night one?!! We need some alcoholic content!"
*bam* milkshake
Not that easy finishing a $12 worth of malt milkshake though.

Small rim
I realize my father's cousin (my uncle) was AJ's basketball coach (and still is)
Knew he was a coach cos I've seen him before, just not quite sure where; only now I recall after seeing some Facebook post.
Pretty awesome cos he remembered me from cat high days!

Niece umbrella
Not bad a gathering considering it's the first time we didn't meet to collect Ang bao or play mahjong
And a really nice photo!!

Bird's man
Nope, Ms Nostalgia, you're not the bird
But yep, he's the man.
HAHAHAH
"Female olive backed sunbird!
Cinnyris jugularis" - Bird's man
Peripheral
Wore my first pair of contacts at the proud age of 23!!! Oh wells. I realize I'm the opposite of my Tiger Dad, who apparently has tunnel-vision (the literal kind), hence the name.
On another note, thanks for walking up down left right everywhere and spending so much of your recently-topped-up ez-link on this one day, bro! Love you deep deep! Hahahah

Zzsf
Yea, exactly why I think couples shouldn't be colleagues!!! But oh wells, hope we won't have the conflicting roles! Hahah
And I'll probably never be a good reporter/paparazzi...

On my toes
Talking to Ms Blur and I realize why I'm always ahead of time... Rushing...
I've always been tying to not be left behind. As though I haven't been "left" 10years behind since the day I was born...
Trying to catch up

Post-exam
Wanted to start on my pol science books but guess what! One of my favourite subject on one of my favourite cartoon!
Actually, this time round, it's quite different
It's more emotional, and I don't know why
Less relieve, more anxiety
Less motivated, more aimless
Which really shouldn't be the case considering the internship/OC/Eurotrip and, more importantly, SEP that is coming up!
Or maybe they are the reason...
Algebra
To end off this exam period, Brandon and I were actually discussing this interesting trivial last night:
All alphabets from A-Z were used up on both the engineering courses and the economic courses... With the exception of "O"!
O, forever alone~

Now the usual countdown to release of results begins...

2 D minus fking 1
That feeling was fking awesome..
I'm still not sure if my lack of sleep or the random confidence that surged within me after my econometrics paper is to be blamed, but the highness doesn't seem to be subsiding any time soon.
Focus, Jason. Focus.
It's not over yet.
